Vida Ankrah, Seamstress

Vida Ankrah is the proud owner of <i>By His Grace Fashion</i> located in central Cape Coast. As a seamstress, she completes general orders for both Global Mamas and other local clientele, although her specialty is Men's wear.  Vida is a relatively new "Mama" but she could not be more enthusiastic about the company. The Global Mamas philosophy believes not only in simply supplying orders for the women, but also educating them and providing them with a comprehensive skill set. Despite the fact that Vida has only been a member for a little more than a year, she has already acquired an assortment of skills. Computer training is one of her favorite activities and she looks forward to coming to the individual training sessions. Global Mamas expects a lot from Vida but she concedes that the standards really help her improve the overall quality of clothes she produces. When Vida is not working with her apprentice on orders, she is providing for her family as a wife and mother of two. Vida proudly says that her family is her rock and they are the most important people in her life. Currently, her entire salary goes to the children's schooling fees as well as providing for her parents.  Vida is a fervent believer that hard work pays off and hopes, that if all goes well, she will be able to expand her shop, which will enable her to take on bigger orders.
