Mansa Darbah, Seamstress

Mansa has been a seamstress for over ten years. She has been a Global Mama for a few years now but before joining Global Mamas, her products were rushed and her customers were sparse. According to her records, she earned at most 150,000 cedis per month – less than $20. Since joining Global Mamas, she has been averaging over one million cedis per month. In addition to the financial gains, Mansa has also received financial support from Global Mamas. Her customers are happy, because the quality control Global Mamas expects has transferred to her other jobs. Mansa recently married Quartson, a graphic designer. She has no children yet but does take care of her junior sister as well as her parents. Mansa is very happy to be married and proudly shows off her engagement and wedding bands.
